Surin Condominium, Tanjung Bungah - The Outcome

After about 6 weeks of hard work, finally the renovation work was completed. Here is some photos of the completed kitchen extension.

A simple, clean kitchen with minimal maintenance required. All the cabinet doors were fitted with soft close hinges, providing the kitchen a touch of class. Note the cement finish of the base of the island which enhanced the kitchen minimalistic feel.

The contrasting colour scheme chosen by the owner gives the kitchen a simple, modern and clean look.

The huge island is able to fit in 3 person comfortably for a quick meal yet offer extra space for food preparation and ample storage space beneath it.

On the whole, this project is a success. We managed to stick closely to the budget yet providing some touch of class. There were additional 3 down light installed, bringing the total cost of kitchen extension to slightly under RM21000. Stay tuned  to see how we transform the rest of the unit's space to a livable home.

Surin Condominium, Tanjung Bungah - Planning

This is our maiden project after our incorporation. We were engaged by the owner of this condominium unit for extension of the kitchen into the foyer area as well as assist to furnish up the whole unit. The owner intends to rent out this unit after the renovation to upper or middle class tenant. Therefore, the finishing has to be of certain standards. The biggest challenge of this project is we have to work on an extremely tight budget of approximately RM20k for the kitchen extension and another RM20k for furnishing up the house.

As the challenge suits our motto "Cheap & Good" and we can't wait to get our venture up and running. We accepted the job without thinking twice. The owner decided on modern and contemporary theme. We were also required to create a cozy home with expats as potential tenants.
